PORTAL HILLS is the kind of Mallorca boat we recommend to clients who want to use their yacht often. A proper family weekend cruiser with the right balance of space, speed, and easy handling.

At 56 feet, she sits in that sweet spot: big enough to host 10 to 12 for the day, but still realistic to owner-operate. With Volvo Penta IPS and joystick control, docking and close-quarters manoeuvring are straightforward, which is exactly what you want in Palma and the southwest marinas.

The layout is built for family use: 3 cabins for 6, plus 2 bathrooms with separate showers. The full-beam owner’s suite is located amidships, the boat’s widest and most stable point, allowing for a full walkaround bed and plenty of natural light from the large windows. Forward, there’s a VIP cabin for guests, along with a twin cabin for children or friends. A separate crew cabin also means you can run her with a captain and chef without affecting the guest accommodation.

Up top, the flybridge is one of the main selling points of this model: proper dining area, wet bar, sunpads, and a comfortable helm station with 360°  visibility. This is where Mallorca days are spent.

Underway, she cruises comfortably at 20 to 22 knots and will run into the low 30s when you need it. That makes cruising the island easy. You can decide late to go for lunch in Andratx or push further up the coast, and you are not turning it into a full-day passage.

At anchor, the extended swim platform gives simple, safe water access. On a family boat, that matters, because it’s where everyone ends up.

She is UK-registered and VAT is not paid. Depending on your residency and intended use, this can be relevant. We handle it properly and transparently with your advisors, so the structure matches how you plan to own and use the yacht.
